Endoscopes are structurally complex instruments, and for this reason the risk of infections is high. Reusable valves present problems such as clogging, difficulty in operation and loss of insufflation and represent one of the most critical steps of reprocessing, as they require up to 30 steps for cleaning and brushing.
Disposable sterile valves are not subject to wear and tear and reprocessing, they overcome this problem by providing a valid alternative to reusable valves and can thus avoid unpleasant malfunctions during the examination.
Currently available:
– air / water and intake valves (Olympus compatible)
– valves for biopsy channel (compatible with Olympus, Pentax and Fuji)
– connectors for auxiliary water jet channel for Olympus.
– Clearview a valve that allows irrigation and the use of devices in the operating channel at the same time. It is not necessary to remove the instrument to allow irrigation, especially during the exam, in particular during the use of duodenoscopes and ecoendoscopes.
